About

I studied Visual Communication Design at Newcastle University. After a brief stint teaching at the university and freelance designing in Newcastle, I moved to Sydney. I interned at creative studio The Distillery, where I went on to work as a Creative Printmaker for about two years.

I balanced my production-heavy day job with personal creative work, like digital illustration, woodblock printing and paper craft. Eventually, I received a job offer from small Melbourne studio The Hungry Workshop. The opportunity to get back in to a more design-focused role and grow alongside a new business prompted a move down south.

I tend to use a process-driven approach to design. I get a kick out of using each stage of a project to bolster the next. I do my best work as part of a team; focusing on collaborative idea generation and allowing results to become more than the sum of their parts.
